Question 1

What exactly is shingle restoration?

Accepted Answer

Restoration is a professional treatment that reverses shingle aging from within. Our proprietary formula absorbs into the asphalt core, replenishing the oils lost to sun and weather, restoring flexibility, and halting granule loss - extending your roof's life by 6 to 15 years.

Question 2

Is this just a coating or sealant?

Accepted Answer

No. Coatings sit on the surface and wash away. Our formula penetrates into the shingle structure itself and rebuilds it at the molecular level, with results proven through ASTM testing.

Question 3

How long does the application take?

Accepted Answer

Most homes are completed in 1 to 2 hours, with no mess, no noise, and no disruption to your household.

Question 4

How soon can it rain after application?

Accepted Answer

The formula forms a waterproof membrane quickly after application. During your assessment we'll schedule around the forecast to guarantee proper curing.

Question 5

How do I know if my roof qualifies?

Accepted Answer

Restoration works best on asphalt shingle roofs that are aging but structurally sound - typically 8 to 20 years old with intact shingles. Our free assessment gives you a definitive answer.

Question 6

What if my roof is too far gone?

Accepted Answer

We'll tell you honestly. If your shingles are past saving, restoration would waste your money - and we don't recommend services your roof doesn't need.

Question 7

Does it work on cedar, metal, or tile roofs?

Accepted Answer

Our treatment is engineered specifically for asphalt shingles. For other roofing materials, we can still provide soft-wash cleaning - ask during your assessment.

Question 8

My roof has moss. Can it still be restored?

Accepted Answer

Yes - moss removal is step one. We soft-wash the roof clean first, then apply the restoration treatment to the clean shingles in the same visit.

Question 9

How much does restoration cost?

Accepted Answer

Restoration starts around $1,900 depending on roof size and condition - compared to $12,000 or more for a typical replacement. Your free assessment includes an exact quote.

Question 10

How much do I actually save versus replacing?

Accepted Answer

Most homeowners save 70 to 80% compared to a full replacement, while adding 6 to 15 years of roof life.

Question 11

What does the warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

Every restoration is backed by our 6-year transferable warranty. If you sell your home, the warranty transfers to the new owner - real added resale value.

Question 12

Is the formula safe and eco-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's biodegradable, made from renewable bio-based ingredients, and USDA BioPreferred certified - and restoring your roof keeps old shingles out of the landfill.

Question 13

Which areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Surrey, Langley, South Surrey, and Delta, with fast local scheduling across the Lower Mainland.

Question 14

What happens during the free assessment?

Accepted Answer

We inspect your roof's condition, explain what we find with photos, tell you honestly whether cleaning, restoration, or neither is the right call, and give you a quote on the spot - no pressure or obligation.
